So when mysportswear receives its invitation for the Macron 2020 new collection launch event – the excitement of seeing new products and meeting up with the ‘Macron family’ is a given – even better when it’s being held at the home of Scottish Rugby – Murrayfield!
The event was executed perfectly, Murrayfield a perfect location for a starting Q&A session with Charlie Shiel & Johnny Gray (two promising and aspiring stars of International Rugby) and then an insight into the new logistics and warehousing centre back in Bologna (home of Macron).
The new ranges were presented and samples were on show to touch and feel – catalogues dedicated to football, rugby and other sports readily available, exactly what our customers look forward to seeing.
After some internal housekeeping, it was time for a tour of Murrayfield and clearly preparations were in place for their home six nations encounter with France this coming weekend – the stadium resonates tradition, strength & passion and that was when it was empty!
From one sport to another, it was time to leave Rugby and prepare ourselves for the evenings hospitality – a trip to Easter Road to watch the Edinburgh derby between Hibs & Hearts. In a less than entertaining first half, this was made up with four goals in the 2nd half -with most of them going to the away team, the home stands cleared pretty quickly before full time.
